LEARNING THEORIES
Learning is defined as that process that brings together personal and environmental experience and influences for acquiring, enriching or modifying one's knowledge, skills, values, attitudes, behaviour and world views.
Learning theories develop hypotheses that describe how this process takes place and while the scientific study of learning started in the 1800s, it was a 100 years later before it picked up in earnest.
